Fusion

A new process

Fusion explores the meeting of two perceptions of reality: the visible world and the one that emerges with closed eyes. Shifting forms, veils of light, and familiar landscapes overlap across the surface, creating a space where different realities coexist. Through paintings and drawings, the series explores the boundary between the ordinary and the unseen.

An exhibition in Biarritz: Surgissement

Presented in August 2024, Surgissement brought together the works of Juliette June and ceramic artist Elianne Monnin. Curated by Virginie Baro, the exhibition explored the emergence of forms, images, and matter throughout the creative process.

An exhibition in Paris: Visible, invisible

In December 2024, the Fusion series was also presented at Espace Commines as part of the group exhibition Visible Invisible, organised by the Association Florence. Bringing together thirteen artists, the exhibition explored themes of perception, presence, and the invisible.

A performance

During this participatory performance, visitors were invited to stand in front of a large-scale painting. As their silhouettes were traced, they revealed figures inhabited by the landscape, extending the exploration begun in the Fusion series of the passages between the visible and the invisible.
