Three mornings to discover drawing or painting outdoors, learn to see in a new way, and leave with solid foundations in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere.

Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience, each session will help you develop your artistic eye, simplify the landscape, and paint or draw with greater freedom.

The Concept

Each workshop takes place over three mornings (9:30 am–12:30 pm).

You are welcome to join one, two, or all three sessions.

Each morning focuses on one fundamental pillar of drawing and painting.

Painting Workshop

COLOUR
Palette, light and atmosphere.

FORM
Subject, framing and composition.

PLAY
Texture, gesture and painterly effects.

Drawing Workshop

LINE
Drawing with ink pens as a tool for expression.

SPACE
Building a composition and creating depth.

SURFACE
Exploring layers of drawing through mixed media.

Practical Information

Who is it for? Ages 14 and up — all levels welcome

Group size: Small group (maximum 10 participants)

Fees:

  • €60 for 1 morning

  • €110 for 2 mornings

  • €150 for 3 mornings

Materials to Bring

Drawing Workshop

Morning 1

  • A5 sketchbook or A5 paper (180 gsm)

  • One black fineliner or marker

Morning 2

  • A4 mixed media paper (such as Paint'On, 250 gsm)

  • Watercolour pencils

  • A small watercolour set

  • One wash brush

  • A water container

  • A cloth

Morning 3

  • A4 mixed media paper (such as Paint'On, 250 gsm)

  • Watercolour pencils

  • A small watercolour set

  • One wash brush

  • A water container

  • A cloth

  • One black fineliner or marker

  • Glue

  • Scissors

For your comfort (optional)
Water bottle, sun hat, folding stool… Travel light!

Painting Workshop

Drawing materials

  • A5 mixed media paper (such as Paint'On, 250 gsm) for sketches and studies

  • Watercolour pencils, markers, or charcoal

Painting materials

  • Five acrylic paint tubes:

    • Magenta

    • Cyan

    • Primary Yellow

    • Titanium White

    • Black

    • (Optional: Yellow Ochre and one fluorescent colour)

  • One palette knife

  • Three brushes (small, medium and a flat brush)

  • At least three A3 painting surfaces (Paint'On 250 gsm paper or canvases)

  • One palette

  • A water container

Water bottle, sun hat, folding stool… Travel light!
